Clint,
I've got Adaware, Spybot and Pest Patrol installed. Pest Patrol is the only
program I have that is actively monitoring anything. I run the other two
manually. I had thought the same thing you did about one of the spyware
program's updates being faulty and I have caught Pest Patrol in the past
putting out an update that deletes or blocks things that it shouldn't but
they always correct it and I don't think that was the case this time.

It's a mystery to me but it's sure aggravating. I must have 30 or 40 sites
that I have to log into.

Ben

are STILL there!

Well now that's very interesting you having the same problem
and over the past few days! This now makes me think of some
type of new malware that cannot yet be identified. Do you have
any of these installed: IE Privacy Keeper, Internet Sweeper,
and I'm sure you have AdAware, SpyBot and SpywareBlaster
installed. The reason I mention these is they all have some
kind of Cookie control areas. The former two don't have any
kind of updates, but it's not impossible for it to be a "new
bug" in them, however that's very unlikely that we'd both see
the same bug at the same time, and, what would cause it all of
sudden? **IF** software related, then it's more likely it
would be SpyBot, AdAware or SpywareBlaster since they DO have
updates and one of their updates could have been faulty and may
have caused this.

Same problem here Clint. It's been happening the last few
days. The log in
info seems to last a while, through the day at least, and then
in the
morning I have to do it again. What we do without all these
little
irritations?

I'm having a Cookie problem. The few Cookies I keep are STILL
in the Cookie folder, yet websites are no longer remembering
the login and keeping me logged in as they ALWAYS HAVE
previously. This started a few days ago and I changed NOTHING
back then. VERY annoying to have to type in a user and pass
now at every site that requires a login! This is XP SP2 and
IE.

The sites that ARE still remembering the login are the type
that present themselves with the *WINDOWS* and *IE* "special"
login, the kind you see when you login to your website for
example (the popup box that asks for your user and pass, and a
checkbox to remember the login, and all you do is click "OK"
then the page loads). I have no problem with those. The
problem is with message boards, forums and the like that
require a login to post. These are were I have to login now
every time. I also have to login now every time at DHL, UPS,
and the like. It's like the Cookies are all corrupted. I've
tried deleting them then adding again and that didn't work.
Thanks for any info,
-Clint
