Clint,
Is it possible you accidentally chose to "do not allow Windows to remember
passwords"?
Or the option got turned off somehow?

Subject: PCWorks: No websites are remembering logins, yet their Cookies are
STILL there!

I'm having a Cookie problem. The few Cookies I keep are STILL
in the Cookie folder, yet websites are no longer remembering
the login and keeping me logged in as they ALWAYS HAVE
previously. This started a few days ago and I changed NOTHING
back then. VERY annoying to have to type in a user and pass
now at every site that requires a login! This is XP SP2 and
IE.

The sites that ARE still remembering the login are the type
that present themselves with the *WINDOWS* and *IE* "special"
login, the kind you see when you login to your website for
example (the popup box that asks for your user and pass, and a
checkbox to remember the login, and all you do is click "OK"
then the page loads). I have no problem with those. The
problem is with message boards, forums and the like that
require a login to post. These are were I have to login now
every time. I also have to login now every time at DHL, UPS,
and the like. It's like the Cookies are all corrupted. I've
tried deleting them then adding again and that didn't work.
Thanks for any info,
-Clint
