That's just what I said. ;-) However they are not found in "All Users". There are several "Favorites" folders, (most are empty or only have the default Windows links), and the one you use is under your username: C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Favorites
But all one needs to do is search C: for 'favorites' and pick the folder that's holding them. -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harold B." Donna, assuming (thinking about Felix Unger's famous line about "assuming"), that you are talking about IE, and not knowing your operating system, I'd go to Search and enter "favorites" (sans quotes). I know that in Win XP, it's found in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Favorites and in: C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Favorites Copy those folders to you backup location (floppy or CD or Drive) and after formatting your computer, copy them back to wherever you originally found them. > I format my computer very often and loses my favorites links > everr time . > Can any one tell me how i can save my links. --- Donna ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
