Marlene, does this happen with other browsers as well as IE?

Which program are you using, or is this an in-house creation specific to your firm? It sounds as if it will only accept one user per session, can you set it up to accept concurrent sessions per user?

I know one garage that uses such a system, but I have not heard of any issues on their end.

Ok guys, here is the scenario:
One technician goes to the online version of our automotive repair
program. The next tech comes along and clicks the icon to open the
online parts warehouse. This is where the problem comes in. Even if we
open a new window, it still closes the repair program and opens the
parts page. Very annoying to the first tech who comes back a few
minutes later and then must enter the vehicle information all over
again.

Typing in the url for parts ordering is not an option, because the
login pages have long urls, and the guys are NOT typist :-). I have
looked online, but have not found a solution to this particular
annoyance. Anyone have any ideas out there?

Thanks,
Marlene
