Just ran mine two days ago and had no problems updating, but today, I
tried and also got to the 5% and it stopped. I tried the direct access
to the site http://www.lavasoft.com/ and had difficulty in signing in.
On my ad-aware update screen, I have a notice about a new website and I
am presuming that they are having problems with the update. I tried the
direct download, but it required a signin with password, but I have no
recollection of signing up or creating a password when I downloaded and
installed. I have the Ad-Aware Personal SE.
