"BlankHi" ? ;-)
You have to look at the HTML code (source code) to find the
music file. To do this you have to do a "Reply" or "Forward"
of the email, and your email program has to be set (at least
temporarily) to reply or fw'd in the format messages are
received. I see you're using OE and I believe it's setup like
this by default. Then when you "Reply" or "Forward", look at
the "Source" tab at the bottom of the email. If it's not
there, go to "View" then check "Source edit". In that tab
you'll see the HTML code for the email and you'll have to
search through it for the music file. The quickest way I'd
suggest is copying and pasting all the text from it into
Notepad or similar, then search the text for .wav or .midi, or
any other type of file format for audio files. Hopefully it
will be a full URL you can paste into your address bar and get
it that way if the file format is savable. If not, then paste
the URL into an email, close the email then go to the Drafts
folder, right click the URL and "Save target as".
If the wav or midi file is not a full URL, I don't think
there's anything you can do about it but ask the sender.

text list and you can't send attachments or formatted emails to
it).

BlankHi, I have a question that I'm sure some of you can
answer. Quite often
I an forwarded an email with an attachment with really
beautiful music
running in the background. Is there any way I can separate
that music from
the attachment and download just the music to my hard drive?
