I don't know what happened, but Yahoo is famous for this kind of problem.
You can try Yahoo answers, where this question has already been asked and answered, to no avail:

Better yet, get a gmail account.

I was at the library accessing the e-mail on my
Yahoo account. While working on the messages,
I suddenly found that the body of every
e-mail in the account was gone. The message
index was complete and when the message was
read the header was shown, but the body was blank.
All 150 of them The space was
there but it was blank. (Long messages had
a long blank space and short messages had a
short blank space). An other person went to their Yahoo mail and it was fine.

When I shut the computer down and rebooted
back to Yahoo everything returned to
normal.. Any ideas what happened to hide
the body of every message??
