Harold, I know you're a stickler for saving space ;-)  so if all you
need is a simple PDF reader why not ditch Adobe completely (it has
become an atrocious piece of bloatware) and see what the competition is
offering.  I use Foxit ( www.foxitsoftware.com ) which is wonderfully
quick and nimble after the slow, lumbering movements of Adobe.  You'll
also find other freebies if you look around the software sites.

And you'll also face an interesting challenge that I know you'll enjoy:
cleaning every last trace of Adobe off your drive.
