Yes; I didn't want to go create directories in CVS without your okay.

Debhelper (I was lazy) - and yes, I'd like to add the debian directory to
CVS, if that's okay with you. I also had to change the configure script
(which generates the top level makefile) a little.

And can we rename Makefile.orig to something less easily mistaken for
patch debris?

I though you might want to look at my changes and see if they break
the normal and .rpm builds.

To unpack the source package on a Debian system, you can say 'dpkg-source
-x pdbv*.dsc' in a directory containing the .tar.gz, .patch.gz and
.dsc files; but you can also just apply the patch to the source archive
and chmod a+x debian/rules for the same effect.
