The (English) man page is written, and I started the debian packaging.
Of course, with pdbv so nicely localized, we should translate the man
page as well. So I am including it in this mail for the benefit of anyone
who wants to translate it. I volunteer to do the German translation. :)
I ran into a few problems with the makefiles - $PREFIX is not
handled consistently (at least for dpkg-buildpackage's purposes), and
po/Makefile.orig looks like something left over after a patch - could
this be renamed to Makefile.skel perhaps? People will be less tempted
to delete it.
If there are no objections, I'll commit the changed configure script,
Makefiles and the debian directory once I am satisfied. Should I put them
into a branch so people can test it before we merge it into the trunk?
On the other hand, I noticed that the rpm building infrastructure is not
in CVS, so maybe the debian directory should not be checked in?
