Tracy,
How do you geterate your source document? Word, Framemaker, etc.? How do you place the graphics into the source document?
Those of us on this list can help given a bit more information.

Subject: [PDF-Basics] SMALL PDF FILES

Using Distiller I create PDFs of large (300+ pages) user manuals. Half the pages are tiff screenshots. The PDFs are verrry large. Is there a way I can make them smaller? I think I read in this list of a 3rd party software to do this, but I can't find the reference. I have tried saving the PDF as postscript and redistilling it, but it came out even larger.

Thanks in advance.
