As this message got posted on the Forms list, I suspect that we are talking about forms. In this case, it is highly recommended that you check whether these forms are optimized for fast web wiew. If so, make sure they no longer are. And see if they get faster.
On the other hand, it is nkown that Acrobat 6 is slower than 5.
If you can describe the symptoms, we might be able to have a few more suggestions on where to start making these forms faster.
