Well, that is exactly what you tell Acrobat to do with your code.

On one side of the assignment, you have a field value, and on the other side, you have a field object.

So, having the field's values on both sides would get you there...

I need to use a variable in the getField method. The code below is my attempt.

What is happening is this. the global variable secpayspawn contains the page number of a spawned page.

I need to update the fields on this page but since I am dealing with multiple spawned pages I need to use a stored variable.

When I use this code I get a [object Field] in the field where the data should go.

Any insite would help.
