Why is it that Acrobat version 6 behaves differently from previous versions, regarding the Read Only field property?Because Acro 6 isn't a perfect product. It's pretty good, but they screwed up on some things. Any program as big as Acro 6 is going to have bugs and UI bloopers (Look at Win 98: Microsoft announced on their rollout of that product that they had "fixed" over 5,000 bugs in Win 95.) Tab order has been a thorn in the side of a lot of Adobe developers. Work around it for now; they'll fix it in a future release.

Previous versions use to ignore the "Read Only" field in the Tab Order. Now, version 6 seems to advance the cursor through the "Read Only" fields, without showing the cursor?!? The user is mystified as to where their cursor went, until it emerges to the next Non-Read Only field, as they continue to press "Tab".
Yes
Has anyone else experienced this?
Is there a mysterious preference I have set wrong? No.
