As long as the standard version includes Distiller you can create the base form in another software package and then distill it to create the PDF.  Then you can add your form fields, etc.

I am trying to find out if you can create forms using Version 6 Standard edition.  Thanks

Does Approval work with Acrobat 6.0 created eForms and/or Designer xdp files?  If not, what's the recommendation for a comparably prcied solution for <= 25 "known" users in the Acrobat6/Designer paradigm?

At $39 per user for Approval, it could get expensive very fast. Plus, it means that the user has to agree to purchase and/or install the software.

The cost is borne by the author NOT the end users - that's one of the other advantages over Approval.

As to "expensive very fast" - $39/seat is an AMAZING CHEAP price for a piece of software...let alone a commercial solution.
