PDF-Forms is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________

I have created a form for digital certificates identity verification (www.CAcert.org) where the user enters his personal info (name, e-mail, etc.). There is an area reserved for a scan of his passport ID.

Is there a way I can let the user click the image area, have Acrobat prompt for the file location, and insert the image into that area?

I have already used the Form Tool to create a "Field" for the image which is defined as Type: Button. Then I have Action: Mouse Down. After that I'm stuck. Under "Do the following" I've tried "Open File", but then it wants a file NOW (and opens it in an external viewer). I've tried "Execute Menu Item: Scan" but that wants to *append* the scanned image instead of placing it into the Form Field. I don't know what else will work.

Link to the Form: http://lairo.com/files/CAcert%20Identity%20Verification%20Form%20EN.pdf

I have Acrobat 5.0. Thanks for any help.
