You can also easily crop the section you want to print in Acrobat 6, then print same size or fill the page.

            Actually, with Acrobat/Reader 6 you CAN!   There is a new
    tool on the toolbar called the Snapshot tool, which allows you to
    select an area of the PDF.  Normally it is used for capturing a
    section of the PDF as an image - BUT it also works to define a
    limited area for printing!

            So users can just select the limited area they wish to print
    and away they go.  I have verified it works fine in Reader 6 when
    stand alone, but haven't tried in browser - though I can't see it not
    working there...
