Hi all
There is a solution for this problem.
1) Make sure to have the Photoshop PlugIn "PDFFormat" from the Acrobat Folder installed
2) open the Photoshop Package Program by hollding the ctrl-key while klicking on Adobe Photoshop
3) in the just opened folder-windows you find an alias to Adobe Photoshop. Copy this Alias to the desktop
4) Now go into Acrobats Preferences for TouchUp and choose this just copied Alias as the prefered program for Image Editing.
Now try to edit an image using TouchUp

I'm so confused.
I'm running Acrobat 5 (OS 9.2) and recently asked for at least Photoshop 6. I was assuming we had a liscene. I was wrong, so they installed Photoshop 7. Great right? I can't get Photoshop 7�to work with Acrobat 5 when using the touch up object tool.
When I try to use the touch up object tool in Acrobat 5, the error�message, when it is trying to access PhotoShop,�refers to the
operating system, needs to be OS�X�(can't remember the verbage). I do have Acrobat 6, but not the pro version, so the touch up object tool is not available, right?
Am I stuck with 3 pieces of software that won't play with each other or is there something I'm missing?

You're right, it's a known problem. You can't use the Acrobat 5 Touch-up Object tool with Photoshop 7, even if running on OSX.
You need Acrobat 6, I don't know if this function requires Standard or Pro version.
