Hi Carol, I forgot to add one more thing In distiller settings, there is a checkbox in the advanced tab that says "allow postscript file to override distiller settings". If the pdf was made with that on, it would keep all the extraneous settings instead of making a clean pdf with the proper settings. Lauren Cross -- Lauren E.
