We're still producing self contained PDF on Hybrid CDs using Acrobat 4.0.5 because (last time I checked) Acrobat Reader for Mac will not launch from a CD using Acrobat 5 or 6
Reader 5.x for Mac runs fine from a CD-Rom, mine works perfectly ;-) I didn't test with version 6...
