[PDF] PDF experts..

I have a huge no of pdf files with the text of the entire file taken as image. The document does not show any "fonts" or shows for a few pages and the rest of the pages are in image format. Can some one help me with:   1. Can these "text as image" pages/files be changed to text pages where it will show the fonts and make it editable? Is there any plug-in or software for this? 2. I have to convert the entire lot of these pdfs into doc format. The problem is how to compare the two formats (pdf and doc) for accuracy?   Atul Gupta
