You see Windings font is symbolic in nature unlike others so it gives trouble sometimes. Be sure that all of its descriptors i.e font descriptors are with correct values. By this I mean to say the Font structure must have all fields intitialized. Secondly, Wingdings font has variants. So while printing any document such errors can happen. There are many fonts which have postscript versions and the normal one. All ps fonts are under ownership of Adobe. The difference between various versions of the same font is due to slight difference in Font-Width table. Also the difference can be attributed to the encoding scheme the font follows. Each encoding scheme and subencoding scheme adds new parameters. The idenetity H ( though new to me) is adding such features which are not getting handled by your application. So first ensure that all things are getting met. Then try again . Hope this helps. ---- Alok Whig ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jon Bamsey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 5:07 PM Subject: RE: [PDF] Identity H encoded fonts > > The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > __________________________________________________________________ > > Print files containing wingdings generate ps errors and won't print > Rgds > jon > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On Behalf Of Olaf Drmmer > Sent: 13 February 2004 11:02 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Jon Bamsey > Subject: Re: [PDF] Identity H encoded fonts > > > > The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | > http://www.pdfzone.com > __________________________________________________________________ > > What is the problem? > > Olaf Druemmer > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote Fri, 13 Feb 2004 11:04:23 +0000 > > >We have a problem with font which are encoded Identity H, in particular > > >Wingdings.
