But what are those boxes? As I explained, they ended up costing me money. There must be somebody in PDFland that knows what they are and why they appeared with Acrobat 6. I just carefully extract them until the desired image is highlighted. What version of Acrobat (standard or professional) are you using. I don't think that option is available in Acro 6 Standard. You are able to do minimal changes to images, but not edit in photoshop. The layers view in Acrobat, will only show them if they were actually created in the original application and shouldn't interfere with opening the file in photoshop. Having said that you may also try to download the latest update from adobes website or you could uninstall /re-install.
