If your RIP is  a True Adobe  PS Interpreter it should be no problem.
The tranparency are only support on PDF version 1.4, so your RIP must
process this PDF version .
 Have you try to drop your PDF file on one drop folder from the RIP .
You could try on HEIDELBERG RIP like Delta or METADIMENSION.This can process
this file with no problem cause they have the last version of PS interpreter
from ADOBE 30.16.
But if your RIP can process PDF 1.4 you should have no problem.
