So you want a product where folks can send files and have them batch/auto converted? Or you want a cheaper desktop solution??
They have a number of departments that generate documents in WORD (and other Microsoft electronic) formats and need to output to Image+Text PDF for use in the E.GENDA solution.
You would never convert from Word to Image+Text - you'd create a "fully featured" PDF with text and vectors.
In addition, some of the documents will be scanned to TIF and need to be converted to PDF Image-only (and later converted to PDF Image+text) for use in E.genda routing.
OK - that makes sense.
