You may also consider PDFCompressor for scanned images. It produces the smallest files using the JBIG2 compression, does OCR and provides easy setup for large batch jobs. You can obtain an evaluaitoncopy here:

        You might also want to look at AdLib eXpress (http://www.adlibsys.com) to round out your list of products...


Does anyone have any input on which is better and why?

        Based on what criteria?  Formats converted?  Fidelity of conversion?  Price?  Additional functionality?  User interface?  Other?!?!
