Title: RE: [PDFdev] Replace image in a existing PDF File with a new image

You need to read PDF Reference from Adobe.   This will help you to understand the PDF file specifications.
You can download it from www.adobe.com or you can get the hard copy from Amazon.com.

PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com

That is what I was afraid of.  And no we are not very familiar with PDF
internals currently.  Looks like I need to do some reading/learning.  Do
you have any good pointers for material on PDF internals?

Thanks,
Mike

The Adobe PDF Library uses the same API as Acrobat plug-ins. So you can
do the "proof of concept" in a plug-in.

You may well find the task more awkward than you imagined, unless you
are very familiar with PDF internals.

I am looking to replace a image in a existing PDF file with a new image
in a Server Environment.  Adobe says that their PDF Library product
should let us do this but to date I haven't been able to get a trial
version from this to confirm.  Does anyone have any other alternatives
or comments on the feasibility of this?
Thanks,
Mike
