It's interesting (to me only perhaps) that you did not point out all these tools for 
correcting incorrect format when I described a
case in which Acrobat 5 simply fell over, and where Acrobat 4 did not.  Is that why do 
you not add Acrobat to your list of parsers?
Why cannot Acrobat detect incorrect format?
