ok, I should (and I will) use CID font.
Anyway, can you explain why the proposed syntax is wrong? Is it a pdf rule
breaking in my example, is it an interpretation error from Acrobat,...?

We found the most reliable way to use TrueType fonts with
encodings other than WinAnsi or MacRoman (or builtin for
symbol fonts) to be glyph id addressing with conversion
to CID fonts. This requires a lot of font-related work
(parse the font's internal cmaps; keep track of its
GID mappings; map incoming text to GIDs; translate kerning
values between incoming text and GIDs; etc.), but provides
a much more general and robust approach, and in addition
opens the door to clean Unicode support.
