I tried to create a pdf file with truetype CID font, but it does not work. I
do not see why. Perhaps should I have to embed the font?

Yes. Unembedded CID fonts are only allowed in combination with standard CMaps (mostly for CJK fonts); if you want to follow my recommendation you'd use glyph id addressing, which always requires font embedding along with an appropriate CIDToGIDMap entry (or its default, which is /Identity, and allows you to directly put glyph id values into your page content stream).

I put the the file on ftp://ftp02.irislink.com/ocr/xwalhin/pdf/file2.pdf
A strange think is that Acrobat 5 opens this file, but Acrobat 6 does not!
How is it possible?

When I tried, both Acrobat 5 and 6 open the file with the message "The file is damaged...", but both display an empty page.
