My mistake. In my experience, posting questions here about using the PDF.ocx is something misguided VB programmers do. (Myself included at one stage). I also find that some of the responses on this list are very terse and not that useful to people who are inexperienced. It seems my long winded response was equally as unhelpful. I thought perhaps I could give you some options and the dubious benefit of my experiences on this list. I was trying to point out to you, in my own way, that doing things with the PDF.ocx is not something you are likely to get any support from from serious PDF programmers who are the regulars on this list. Basically I wanted to say, "You won't get any help here" without just blowing you off, but I got onto a personal rant without realising it You were right to be confused because obviously I was. I apologise and am suitably embarrassed. Getting back to your original problem, I firmly believe that you really have no choice but to investigate options other than the PDF.ocx, or just live with the less than satisfactory results you are currently getting. End of story. One of those options could be to create your own PDF rendering control using VC++, or a suitable .Net language, following instructions in the Acrobat SDK. I mentioned that I am programming in .NET and C# to be specific. I am proficient in VC++, Java too and have years of programming background behind me. I am really confused by your email. Do you mean that to get help from this test I have to pass certain test set by the more senior members from this list so that I can get myself established? I hope I understood what you meant?
