Hello, I've had a request to 'not embed TTF' files .. to allow for a reduction in PDF file size. The user has stated that it won't be an issue since the non-embedded font is a standard Windows font and all his users will have the font on their computers. But in my code I have always embedded the font ... for obvious reasons. Now I need to change my output to not embed the font. I have tried this but Reader doesn't seem to recognize the font ... even though I know it's installed on my machine. I've included the Embedded and the non-embedded dictionaries below. I thought this would be easy .... but I seem to be missing something (simple). The font I am using is called "Code 39" ... its a bar code font. Any help would be very much appreciated.
