I understand what you are saying.  I'm simply stating that the design of the
popup does not function according to the accepted "norm."

Now, since they decided to change things, do you have a suggestion on how to
print multiple PDFs without the user having to click Print for each one?
Perhaps appending all of them into a single PDF would work.  Is there a way to
do this server-side and quickly?

         I think you are missing my point - you are using an UNDOCUMENTED 
and UNSUPPORTED method...

         As such, the fact that this has ever worked was ENTIRELY LUCK...

         And now it's broken and you need to find an APPROVED solution...
