Actually, the "help browser" in pdfedit should be rewritten, and the help probably too, as it is slightly outdated (basically the help is for version somewhere around 0.2.0). Also, some restructuring of the help (now it is one loong file, I think it should be rather a series of small pages generated from the long file).
However, to do this with as little work as possible, I'll write some utility to generate the set of files to be the help by cutting the large one, so if you keep same structure as the english version (structure of document, ID's of chapters, etc...) this should be no problem. There are more documents that can be considered to be help, which ones do you want to translate? Maybe you should point to documents you want to translate, then keep us maybe week to clean them up and update them, then start translating. Also, some parts (namely documentation for scripting API) is generated from comments in source code, so if you want to translate that, I will need to slightly improve the generator tool to be able to handle translations (which should be relatively easy) Martin Petricek On 5/16/07, Andreas Mantke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Martin, > > Am Dienstag 15 Mai 2007 schrieb Martin Petricek: > > > > I missed on the Sourceforge-Page of pdfedit the information > > > > about translation into german. > > > > > > I am not sure about your question, but information about german > > > localization is part of the release note in News section > > > (http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=690805) and > > > (on the official PDFedit web pages) in > > > http://pdfedit.petricek.net/pdfedit.lidi_e > > > > I think he meant adding pdfedit project into category "Projects > > with german translation" on sourceforge. > > > > On sourceforge.net/projects/pdfedit there is "Project details" > > and there is line "Translations : Czech, English, German, > > Russian, Spanish" > > > > I meant this line. > > > German was missing there, but I've just fixed that > > That's fine :-) > > Maybe I'm able to translate the help-pages in pdfedit.
