I am using Ubuntu. Is pdfedit in any repository that I can add to
synaptec so that I do not have to follow the instructions to install the
program. The reason I ask is because I tried the recommended install
method and immediately it failed with an error message:
error: QTDIR environment variable must be set
I did a search on qtdir and did not get any helpful advice. I do not
know how to set the variable. Could anyone help me, please or advise me
on how to set up the appropriate repository.
