I am using Ubuntu. Is pdfedit in any repository that I can add to
synaptec so that I do not have to follow the instructions to install the

and immediately it failed with an error message:
I don't know whether there is some Ubuntu repozitory but you can use native
debian package (
http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?searchon=names&version=all&exact=1&keywords=pdfedit)
which should work for Ubuntu too.
error: QTDIR environment variable must be set
I did a search on qtdir and did not get any helpful advice. I do not know
how to set the variable. Could anyone help me, please or advise me on how to
set up the appropriate repository.
Try to look at http://pdfedit.petricek.net/pdfedit.user_doc#install_part for
more information about installation.
