On the other hand, PDFedit and its core library enable working with a rather low-level PDF data structure so it might be possible to add such a functionality. Unfortunately, I don't think that the current PDFedit team (which consists only from 3 people - working only occasionally) would be able to get to this any soon. Our TODO list is really long and the time is not on our side.
