Hello everyone,

I wanted to get your opinions on the following plan for the split:

1. A quick review of the test cleanup branch at
<https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/pull/109>.
It has many changes, so before splitting, it would be good to get
   that in.

2. We will to create a PDL-Core dist which we can test the new dists against.
I suggest that we create a dev release of PDL-Core and all the
Travis-CI configurations be set to use that release via `cpanm --dev`.

Later, we can try to have Travis-CI build settings test PDL-Core
   directly from the master branch.

3. As a way to start organising the split, I have proposed a list of
future dists in a meta-issue at
<https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/issues/119>.
I got this list out of the TODO file.

This is more of a way to quickly know where we are with each new
   dist.

Each dist will have a task list (described at
<https://github.com/PDLPorters/devops/blob/master/NOTES.md#add-split-task-issue-for-repository>)
and information on whether it has been released to CPAN or not.

4. We are going to be hosting a large number of new repositories, so
keeping track of everything is going to be challenging.

I have made a list of current repositories in the README of
<https://github.com/PDLPorters/devops> as an initial way to get a
quick overview of each repo state.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Cheers,
- Zaki Mughal
