An update: after discussion with Chris and Ed on IRC and GitHub, we
discovered that we also needed to

1. Make sure indexing of PDL 2.012 is correct. We need a stable release
   that can be installed while we test out future changes.

2. Make sure that the pdldoc DB is updated post-split. Ed has changes on
   a branch called `pdldocfix` that helps with this by running
   PDL::Doc::add_module() in the pdlpp_postabmle()
<https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/pull/122>.

   Ed has more information on this.

3. The rest of the list from the previous e-mail
<http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.perl.pdl.devel/6534>.

Chris, does this seem like a reasonable roadmap?

Ed, you were saying that you also had to work on a fix for
ExtUtils::ParseXS for use with perl-in-space? Where do you suggest
placing that work on the timeline?

Regards,
- Zaki Mughal
