could you please try to add to the top-level Makefile.PL an extra line like
this one from PDL::LinearAlgebra:
https://metacpan.org/source/CHM/PDL-LinearAlgebra-0.12/Makefile.PL#L24
+ recreate the distribution tarball - it should contain GENERATED subdir
with documentation that should be nicely parsed on metacpan.org.
