Hi Karl-

What Rob said but PDL::FFTW was moved to its
own distribution as of PDL-2.007 and the dead code
was removed in PDL-2.008 .. PDL-2.011.

PDL::FFTW 2.024 is only a stub module to provide
the following FFT safety message:

   This module no longer exists on CPAN and is completely
   unsupported because the underlying fftw-2.x library is
   obsolete.  Please use PDL::FFTW3 instead.

Given that the PDL::FFTW module had a number of
bugs, performance issues, and was based on the
deprecated FFTW version 2 API library, it didn't make
sense to support it further.

Thanks to Dima and Craig's work, the PDL::FFTW3
module is more complete and up to date. It is compatible
with the new 64bit index and threads correctly.

The Release_Notes file is now Changes and has
the various key information for each PDL release.
