Heya Herbert...

I have a Pentax 67, which I love. The 67II is made of a lighter
material, has aperture-priority auto exposure, TTL flash and a new
(better?) set of finders. Other than the finders, none of this
particularly exites me, so I'll stick with my 67 for now...plus, I
bought my 67 only a year before the 67II came out, so it's still nice
and new.

As to portraits, make sure that you're comfortable with the minimum
focussing distances of the lenses. Coming from 35mm primes I was
surprised by a couple of them, particularly the 200mm f4 that I was
loaned...I found it kind of useless as I couldn't get much closer than
head-n-shoulders. It was old, and I don't know if the new one is any
better or not.

Other than that (and the minimum focus thing applies to pretty much all
medium format gear that focus on the lens side rather than with a
bellows), I adore my 67.

Aaron
