 You know, I could say the same thing.  But don't tell my boss :)  There is 
just no substitute for self-motivation.

 I remember shooting a waterfall just before the new year.  I was wet, the K2 
body I was holding was soaked, I'd been wiping water off the 15mm lens after 
each shot.  I had just learned to trust my camera bag for its weather 
resistance (in retrospect, I'm seriously glad that I can!).

 I'd carted the RB67 rig for 3/4 of an hour up and down the hillside to get 
there and had a bloody sore shoulder from doing so (I'm not very "well-
padded", or very fit), and there was too much spray to even take the body out 
from in its plastic bag (and I still had to carry it back).

 Just before walking back I thought "I wish I could make a living out of this".  I 
would give up my 9-5 job in an instant if that were the case.
