and dip my toes into the digital photo world.
Personally, I went with an Athlon based system when my old Pentium classic system died a few months ago. It smokes - but the inherent instability of Win98 and certain apps is still an annoyance. (At least re-boots are pretty quick now.)
I was amaze at how inexpensive and powerful tings have gotten.
