I read in Spotmatic magazine (the Asahi Bible), that in the first time of
development of the LX camera, the shutter was a full hybrid design. It's,
operational at all speeds in batt-electro and no-batt-manual. This shutter was
after abandoned for the 1/75 and up for a matter of size and weight.
I think it's still great to have all this speeds available for emergency (1/75
to 1/2000), instead of just a poor 1/60 backup
