It seems most of the early LX cameras develop sticky mirror problems
after 15 years or so. And since most of those that we've encountered on
ebay and from other sources of used equipment are older and have never
been serviced, the sticky mirror problem is common to us. But once the
problem has been repaired and the camera has been cleaned and adjusted,
it's a great, durable tool. I purchased a used LX a couple of years ago,
treated it to a sticky mirror repair and CLA. I've shot several hundred
rolls with it since then without a hiccup. And I've never encountered
another SLR camera that his as nice a "fine machinery feel" as the LX.
