We've already heard that a Pentax rep swear it has an internal magnesium chassis. My
guess is that it has excactly that; theres no way those unprotected, protruding strap
lugs are mounted directly into polycarbonate.
I guess its internal structure is much like the Z-1p; a metal chassis that extent to
the lug straps, and in the MZ-S case, connect the upper and lower magnesium body
panels. This chassis also house the shutter assembly. Possibly it also sports a metal
mirror box. The sides of the camera is probably polycarbonate with the chassis moulded
in. In total, this should give very sturdy and rigid construction. Quite possibly the
most solid Pentax ever.
