Yes they do, and badly too. I used to rub the eyepieces a lot because my
finger prints always found my way there. Unfortunately, I did not know the
Z-1p had plastic eyepiece which I made millions of scratches the very first
time I tried to clean it. I did not know this would happen because none of
my previous Pentax bodies had this problem (like MX, LX, P50, Super A which
all had multicoated glass eyepieces). Now everytime I pick up my Z-1p, I had
to be very careful not to touch the eyepiece. And the worst of all, I cannot
control the amount of dirt that stick to it when used in the field. Simply
put, charge me more if they must, but I want the glass eyepiece back. They
can make any part of the body plastic (not exactly), but not the eyepiece.
Not even my plastic eye-glasses that bad. 8-(
