I have an opportunity to purchase an older "Ashai" K-1000SE, which is in
great cosmetic condition, except for a very small ding on the prism
housing. However, the meter does not respond to aperture changes. How
easy is would it be to re-connect the aperture thingy on the body to the
internal meter (assuming this is the problem)? Has anyone here
successfully fixed such a problem? As I haven't purchased this, I don't
want to open it up yet.
