Mike and I disagree on a lot of things digital, but I'm with him 100% on this. I think that the *ist-D is a home run as an introductory DSLR. If exactly 0% of the people on the PDML buy one, Pentax will still sell every one they can build as long as the price is within reason. It's going to put Pentax back on the shelves of a lot of places that either don't sell Pentax at all or carry very little in stock.
